Welcome to FillCare. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website and tell you about your privacy rights.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information when you use FillCare:

  • Identity Data: First name, last name, and profile information.
  • Contact Data: Email address and telephone numbers.
  • Google Calendar Data: If you choose to connect Google Calendar, we use it as an optional overlay to read busy times and insert confirmed shift bookings. FillCare works without this connection, and we do not store the contents of unrelated private events.
  • Booking Data: Information regarding shifts requested, approved, and declined on the platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

We will only use your personal information when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we use your data to:

  • Provide and operate the FillCare platform and booking services.
  • Manage your FillCare availability and effectively schedule shifts.
  • Send transactional emails or SMS notifications regarding shift requests and approvals.

Google API Services User Data Policy

FillCare's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google Calendar access is optional. If you connect Google Calendar, FillCare uses Google user data only to read your calendar busy times, confirm which Google account is connected, and create or remove FillCare-related calendar events that correspond to confirmed shifts.

Data sharing, transfer, and disclosure

FillCare uses Google Calendar data only to provide core scheduling features, including reading busy times, confirming the connected Google account, and writing approved shifts to your calendar. We do not share, transfer, sell, or disclose your Google user data, including calendar data and OAuth tokens, to advertisers, data brokers, or other unrelated third parties. Google Calendar connection data is stored only in our secure Supabase-hosted database to operate the integration.

Data retention and deletion

We retain Google Calendar OAuth tokens and related Google Calendar connection data only while your FillCare account remains active and the Google Calendar integration is connected. We do not store the contents of unrelated private events after busy-time processing is complete.

You can revoke access and delete this Google connection data at any time by clicking Disconnect Google Calendar in your FillCare dashboard or by deleting your FillCare account. Upon disconnection or account deletion, the associated Google OAuth tokens and related Google Calendar connection data stored by FillCare are deleted from our servers. You may also revoke FillCare's access from your Google Account permissions page.

5. Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way. We use Supabase, which enforces rigorous security and Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure data is strictly isolated.
